South African music diva Tyla has received the first award for the newly introduced Best African Music Performance at the Grammy Awards 2024.

The music sensation with her smash hit song Water received the award for the Best African Music Performance at the 66th edition of the Grammys in a category she was nominated in alongside top Nigerian stars such as Burna Boy, Davido, Asake, Ayra Starr and others.

This is a huge win for the singer as this was her first nomination at the Grammys.
