The Starboy Entertainment frontline act and owner, who recently bagged the prestigious BMI songwriting award with the smash tune and its remix, has also gotten a platinum certification in the UK for the same song.

According to the official website of the British phonographic industry, Wizkid’s “Essence” has sold 600,000+ units already, and as such officially became a certified platinum record in England on September 30th, 2022.
